Following the Lines in Black & White

Following the Lines in Black & White

I took a slow photowalk through downtown and along the Bellingham waterfront with one constraint: black and white, and a focus on lines. Shot at 40mm on the Ricoh GRIIIX, the city stripped down to contrast, edges, and rhythm. Familiar places felt new again when color stepped aside and geometry took the lead.

It was written with care and intention, grounded in my love, compassion, vulnerability, and gratitude.
It reflects my healing, my recovery, my acceptance, and my commitment to accountability and ownership, and to making amends through the way I choose to live my life today.
