Ally
ˈa-ˌlī
noun
“One that is associated with another as a helper; a person or group that provides assistance and support in an ongoing effort, activity, or struggle.”
We are always transforming. Life throws challenges at us, and sometimes what we need most is motivation, guidance, or simply someone to walk beside us. That’s where I come in. I’m a trauma-informed Peer Support Ally, and part of a small circle of others who share this work. Together, we help people connect with knowledge, resources, and lived wisdom—along with encouragement and consistent follow-up.
I’m a Certified Peer Supporter and Mental Health First Aider, but more importantly, I bring real lived experience. My journey has included severe treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, complex PTSD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder I; struggles with alcohol and drugs; and the lasting impact of childhood and adult trauma. I’ve navigated shame, relationships, domestic violence, divorce, child custody, finances, credit repair, housing, workplace challenges, and small business operations. I’ve also built skills through passions like photography, agriculture, the outdoors, and community work.
If I don’t personally have the answer or experience for what you’re facing, I’ll do everything I can to connect you with someone who does. My goal is simple: to help you move from feeling stuck to feeling self-empowered—finding success, happiness, and joy in a way that’s real and sustainable for you.
Although my heart leans toward offering this support freely, I’ve learned that honoring both your journey and my own requires valuing the time, energy, and resources it takes to do this work well. That’s why I offer services on a sliding fee scale, with monthly support packages available for those who want consistent allyship. This way, support remains accessible, while also allowing me to sustain the work.
